About

Placer County Sheriff - Honor Guard

The Placer County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (DSA) is a professional organization of approximately 250 sworn law enforcement officers employed by the office of the Placer County Sheriff’s Office and the Placer County District Attorney’s Office.  Our members include Deputy Sheriffs, Sheriff Sergeants, and District Attorney Investigators.

Established in 1974, the men and women of Placer County DSA are devoted to the principles of protecting, promoting and elevating the fundamental welfare of our community.

Our organization assists whenever possible in all matters pertaining to the welfare and advancement of our members.  We support the efficiency of the Placer County Sheriff and the Placer County District Attorney and the general wellbeing of our community.

It is our goal to secure fair compensation for our members for the performance of their professional duties and partner with our organizations in their efforts to recruit and retain the high quality of peace officer the Placer County community has come to expect.  We are proud to serve our community and are grateful for the unrivaled support given by our citizens.
